Mercer is a beautiful reminder that every dog deserves to be seen, understood, and loved—regardless of whether they can hear. 🤍
Deaf dogs are just as deserving of a loving family, a safe home, and a life filled with joy as any other dog. Yet so many are overlooked, surrendered, or turned away simply because they communicate differently.
Being deaf doesn’t make a dog any less loving, loyal, playful, or deserving. It simply means we learn to communicate in a different way—with hand signals, eye contact, touch, and patience.
Mercer was given a second chance, and we hope his story encourages others to look beyond what a dog can’t do and see everything they can bring to a family. 🐾
There are so many wonderful deaf dogs waiting for someone to give them that same chance. Please don’t overlook them just because they can’t hear. They have so much love to give. 💙

Senior Pet Appreciation Month is all about celebrating the sweet, silly, and unforgettable moments that make our senior pets so special. 🐾❤️ Today, we’re celebrating George, a 9-year-old gentle giant whose personality is just as big as his heart!
Here’s what George’s mom has to say:
“George is a gentle giant who loves car rides, squeaky balls, and family walks. And the second he hears a fire truck, he turns into one himself—mimicking the siren with his best howl. At 9 years old, he still loves to run around whether at the dog park or alongside his toddler brother riding his bicycle. We feel it is important for regular checkups, staying active and the occasional good boy treats to maintain George’s happiness, health and longevity.”
