Reproductive services are offered at our Uptown location.
We offer prebreeding consultation and testing to help ensure potential breeding candidates are healthy and ready for the rigors of raisng a family. Such testing includes OFA hip and elbow radiographs, thyroid screening, brucella testing and semen evaluation.
Some animals require assistance to produce a pregnancy due to conformation, decreased fertility, or physical distance between mates. Estrus cycle timing and artificial isemination services are available for these cases. Pregnancy can be determined via ultrasound. Whelping/Queening guidance is offered and if birthing assistance or caesarian section should be needed, we are ready. Neonatal care includes deworming, vaccination, microchipping, and tail an dewclaw removal.
