Our highly qualified, compassionate veterinarians and well-trained team are here for all your pet’s needs. From vaccines to surgeries, our clinics are prepared to treat your pet through every phase of life.
Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, friendly, and calm so that your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our staff. Your pets’ health and wellbeing are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to give your animals the care they deserve. Our clinic utilizes state of the art equipment for all of your pets needs, both large and small, and includes a 4000 sq foot large animal area, where we perform dentals, surgeries, exams and do yearly exams on cattle, horses, zebras, monkeys and an occasional Kangaroo or Kudu!
Our after-hours emergency hours are:
Monday-Friday 6:00PM-9:00PM
Saturday: 12PM-9PM
Sunday: 7:00AM-9:00PM

We now live about 30 minutes away and have plenty of veterinary clinics much closer to home, including several that friends have recommended, but I will happily make the drive every single time because of the level of care, compassion, and trust we have with this team.
And a special shoutout to Sydney! I actually get excited when she answers the phone because I immediately know we’re in good hands. She truly listens, remembers our boys, and genuinely cares about whatever we need. That kind of personal attention means so much when you’re trusting someone with members of your family.
Our dogs aren’t “just dogs” to us. They’re our boys and I always feel like Country Hills understands that. We are so grateful to be back and wouldn’t choose anywhere else! ❤️🐾

Dr. Kenny Patin
Lead Veterinarian Partner
Dr. Patin practices companion animal and exotic animal medicine and provides medical and surgical care for a wide range of species. He also treats livestock, cattle, horses, and more. Dr. Patin and his wife, Sheli, are advocates for the adoption of shelter pets and rescue animals. The Patins live in the Bulverde area where they share their property with one horse, five dogs, a coop full of chickens, and a whole herd of champion-producing cattle.
