This was our first time visiting this location, and S’mores had the best experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can truly tell when a team loves what they do, and that definitely showed here! 🥰

Dr. Sidwa is an amazing veterinarian! She is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to listen, explains everything clearly, and is always so gentle with my cats, Buddy, Alisa, and Penny. I feel completely comfortable putting their care in her hands, and that trust means so much to me. I highly recommend Dr. Sidwa to anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly cares about her patients and their families! ❤️🐾
Here’s what they get right, from about knee height: they greet us before they greet our human. They get down on the floor with us. They talk to us in the voice usually reserved for babies and lottery winners, and honestly, we’ve have earned it! Nobody rushes. Nobody manhandles. Somebody always has a treat and zero judgment about how fast we take it! Again, this entire team is a 10/10!!!
Our human tells us the other half is just as good, clear explanations, exceptional medicine, no upselling, straight answers about what we actually need versus what can wait, and never leave confused or feeling like we got sold something. They always remember us between visits, and always check in with us after every visit, which is more than some of our relatives manage ; )
Rupert here: I’ve been nervous at other places. Not here. Trudy: I got weighed and did not file a complaint. That’s the highest honor I give.

Why does my dog nibble on me?
Short answer: it’s usually communication, not aggression. That gentle “corn cobbing” with the front teeth almost always means one of four things:
* Affection: social grooming, the same way dogs groom packmates to bond
* Play: mouthing your hand is an invitation, not a bite
* Teething: puppies under ~7 months chew to soothe sore gums
* Bite inhibition: they’re learning how much pressure is okay
When to pay closer attention: a stiff body and hard stare, a low growl or snarl, or pressure that actually hurts. Those are stress signals, not play.
The fix for nuisance nibbling is redirection — the second you feel teeth, trade your hand for a chew toy. It teaches what to do instead of just saying no.
